What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, and help us understand how the site is used. Some cookies are set by us, others by the services we use.

02

How we use cookies

We group cookies into three categories. Only the necessary one is set without asking:

  • Necessary: remembers your cookie choice, plus a few local storage entries for small things like whether the intro animation already played. The site does not need anything else to work.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, to see which pages are read and how people find us. Loaded only if you allow it.
  • Marketing: Meta Pixel, to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Loaded only if you allow it.

Until you make a choice, no analytics or marketing scripts are loaded and no data is sent to Google or Meta.

04

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with Cookie settings below or in the footer of every page. When you turn a category off, we remove its cookies and stop loading its scripts.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary cookie means the site will ask for your choice on every visit.

05

Third-party services

Google and Meta process data from their cookies under their own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy. How we handle personal data in general is described in our Privacy policy.

Changes and contact

We update this list when we add or remove a service. Questions? Write to info@nilado.net.
